I will do my best to keep it under 10 songs…
Nine Inch Nails – CloserFirst off there’s the very cliche’ Closer by Nine Inch Nails. It’s not just that Trent Reznor looks pretty fucking hot blindfolded while suspended from the ceiling but it’s the tempo, the beat, the very bare bones of the song which builds such a substantial foundation for the lyrics to weave a lyrical verse of erotica for all to enjoy. It sounds dirty, it sounds sexy and to me it tells the tale of a deep and completely consensual BDSM relationship.
You let me violate you, you let me desecrate you
You let me penetrate you, you let me complicate you
Alice Cooper – Welcome to My NightmareBeing a child of the 70’s this song has stuck around in my head for as long as I can remember. The beginning is slow and then it builds in intensity before it slows right down again.
It’s a lot like how I like to run my scenes, I like to build things up then take them back down a notch. Back and forth through the gamut of sensations and emotions. The lyrics are also quite fitting as well. I like to make my sub kneel as I slowly pace before them gently swinging my floggers or tapping my riding crop in my hand. I look them right in the eye as I sing along…
Welcome to my nightmare, I think you’re gonna like it, I think you’re gonna feel you belong.
We sweat and laugh and scream here. ‘Cause life is just a dream here.
Kiss – UnholyOhh now we’re getting somewhere. This is a great song for getting your Dommiest pants on and walking all over those boys. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is about this song that fills me with confidence and power but the lyrics are pretty much spot on for me.
I always imagine the part where they mention “You created me on the day that you were born” to be the day a Dominant collars their slave. Receiving the collar is their new birth and the unholy sadist is thus created. Hmm maybe it makes more sense in my head.
I was there through the ages
Chained slaves to their cages
I have seen you eat your own
I’m suicide and salvation
The omen to nations
That you worship on all fours
But you are the beast
That calls me by my name
