Review of Kinklab Neon Wand

Kinklab Neon Wand

Kinklab Neon Wand

I am a bit of a fan of electro sex toys. I would be the first to admit that I am not a pro with thousands of pounds worth of equipment but what modest toys I have I certainly enjoy myself with. The Kinklab Neon Wand is an excellent entry level bit of kit for anyone interested in getting into the electrifying world of violet wand play. I’ve put the Kinklab Neon Wand through its paces because I am interested in investing quite a lot of money on some serious kit. I figured if I didn’t like how it felt during play then I could save my money for something else. Want to see how it fared?

The Kinklab Neon Wand is a state-of-the art electrostimulation device designed to be enjoyed by both beginners and seasoned pros. It’s easy to use and comes with four glass filled electrodes so you can get started on your electro sex pleasure right out of the box. It’s a fantastic compact, light weight and solid state neon wand which is used to create shock sensations when there is a gap between the electrode and the skin. As the neon wand is held near the body, the spark will jump providing an intense sensation.

How it measures up

The handset of the Kinklab Neon Wand is about 9.75 inches long and the lead wire is just over 7 feet. This long lead wire gives you some room to move as you stimulate the skin with sensational electrical sparks.

Playtime

This is where the neon wand really shines. I love to turn the lights down low and let the neon wand take centre stage. Once you switch on the handset and the device comes to life, the buzzing noise focuses the attention and puts the recipient on edge for what’s to come. Starting off with the mushroom electrode, the wider surface area makes the sensation very light and gentle. A slow and deliberate pass over arms, thighs, the belly and the breasts is a great introduction with this probe.

Now that the recipient is familiar with the varying sensations that the Neon Wand has to offer I like to switch to the tongue shaped electrode for a more focused feeling. I like to trail the glowing probe along the inner arm, along the inner thighs or the arse for intense sensation. It almost feels like a pinwheel is being rolled over the skin but this has a much better visual aspect.

To take things even further I like to switch to the ball point electrode for a more precise application. This is great for the soles of the feet or for those who like a little pain with their play. If your bottom is a real pain slut, try running this probe over the nipples, tip of the cock or even the clit. It feels like to many needles piercing the skin, much like a tattoo. Mmmmm it is certainly an addictive sensation.

After playing with a violet wand

After playing with a violet wand

After play time you may notice that the Kinklab Neon Wand leaves red marks on the skin if you’re either using one of the more precise electrodes or if you tend to linger around certain areas. These may slightly sting or feel burny for a couple of days after play so keep this in mind if you are going to play with a violet wand before a major event or if you’re creeping around behind your partner’s back (naughty!). You can help sooth the skin with a little aloe vera or after sun lotion.

In summation

Let’s break it down into pros and cons

Pros Cons

Comes with four different electrodes to play with Retailer included a shaving adapter & not a travel adapter
Solid state design – works at any angle Solid state means less powerful than mechanical state
Great sensation play toy Can be too intense for some people
