I don’t really remember where I bought this splendid pair of palm floggers but when I received them one thing was crystal clear, the Floggermeister Crystal Ball Palm Floggers were going to be a mainstay in my arsenal. I was getting on with my florentine flogging skills with my Floggermeister Nunchuck Swivel Floggers when I felt that I was ready to branch out. I tried a few pairs of palm floggers from friends and I liked the way they handled but I wanted something special. Something opulent and luxurious. Something I would enjoy time and time again. I was not disappointed!
Floggermeister Crystal Ball Palm FloggersI remember trying out some of the different palm floggers when I made my usual visit to the Floggermeister stall. He trades at a lot of events and markets so if you’re out and about in the scene you’re sure to run into him sooner or later. I kept seeing these fancy floggers but I was tentative about indulging even though I was still a novice florentine flogger.
I tried the small crystal palm floggers and the different sized nickle ball palm floggers; none of them seemed to really suit my hand just right. When I held the Crystal Ball Palm Floggers in my hands there was a gratifying weight to them. They felt great; maybe a little large for my hands but they felt more at home in my hands than the smaller crystal balls.
I gave them a few swings with a couple of different grip combinations and as I went along I could feel we were getting accustomed to each other and that we would be seeing a lot of each other for the foreseeable future. I paid Carl Floggermeister my £50 and I was off. Think £50 is a bit much for a pair of floggers? I don’t think so, these are top quality, gorgeous and vegan. Remember as with anything, ‘Buy cheap, buy twice.” invest in your equipment and with proper use it will last forever.
How they measure upFrom end to end each palm flogger measures 21 inches. The thirty narrow tails themselves are 18 inches in length and the crystal ball handles are 6.5 inches in circumference or 2 inches in diameter. The silver portion between the handle and the falls is 3.15 inches in circumference (8cm exactly) and one inch in diameter. These are measurements you’ll need to consider if you’re going to be holding these crystal ball palm floggers in your hands for long periods of time and flinging them at high speed. Will your hands stay comfortable? Will they slip out of your hands?
MaterialsLike all other Floggermeister products, this matched pair of palm floggers are made with vegan materials – from the falls to the adhesives. The falls are made from latex free EPDM rubber and are cut with angled tips moderate level of stinginess combined with a good amount of thuddines.
The real highlight would have to be the handles which are made from hand cut glass orbs which serve as both decoration and palm sized handles. These faceted crystal balls really catch the light and add a little glam to your impact play sessions.
PlaytimeI like playing with these when I want to look the business. Dressed in head to toe glossy PVC accentuated with glamorous crystal ball floggers I look and feel my absolute best. Each strike leaves a thuddy sensation with the weight of the rubber but as it passes over the skin, the angled cuts leave just a hint of a lasting bite. The skin very quickly goes bright red which is the hallmark of a great flogging session.
The crystal ball palm floggers fly almost effortlessly and they change directions with just a flick of your wrists. The Floggermeister Crystal Ball Palm Floggers have a certain amount of weight to them which gives them an excellent thud upon landing but unless you are physically fit I would wager you wouldn’t be able to swing these constantly for an hour long session.
